Starting at the furthest tip of Swansea Bay sits the rocky enclave of Bracelet Bay and the ever popular Castellamare Restaurant (if you want to do lunch before or after your walk).
Park your car here but remember to pay and display, there is a permanent car park warden on duty. Walk West heading towards the bottom of Plunch Lane (made famous for the grand property built by Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones at the top), if you can resist walking up to see the property (there is not much to see due to the thick tree cover in front) then stick to the left of Forte's Ice Cream Parlour maybe picking up a treat on the way and some water. Head to the end of the road and bear left when the road comes to an end and forks into two pathways.
After 25-30 minutes you will arrive in the pretty bay of Rotherslade. This is the start of many great walks along one stretch of the Gower Coastline, if you didn't want to stop at Langland Bay or Rotherslade you could continue the 23 mile trek to Rhossili.
